AND THE WINNERS ARE…
Ah, well, we’ll keep you waiting just a few more minutes while we say thank you to everyone for taking part and supporting the event as well as to everyone who organised and judged the event.
- The event was organised by Penistone Arts Collective volunteers Jenny Jones, Ann McCall Evans and Joanne Molloy
- It was judged by artists Lucy Pimpernel-Wood, Suze Mary and Tracey Hawley along with Danielle Brisland & Lynn Briggs from Penistone British Legion
- The prizes were awarded by Penistone Arts Week founder, Chrissie Yates
- The fantastic prizes were generously donated by Penistone’s three fabulous supermarkets: Tesco, Co-op & Spar
Despite it being a bit nippy, overcast and rainy we had 10 adults and 16 children pit themselves against the weather this year.
This annual event invites artists of all backgrounds to embrace the elements, transforming the picturesque surroundings of Penistone into a canvas of their unique interpretation. It’s an opportunity for artists to showcase their talent, capturing the essence of our town in diverse and inspiring ways.
It’s never too early to start practising, so even if you have no art experience at all, have a go – you could be next year’s winner! Speaking of, here’s what you’ve all been waiting for – the winners of 2025…
